If you’ve ever been to our office, then you’ve probably met our dental hygienist, Lisa. She’s been with our practice for a number years and is practically a part of the family!

But, that doesn’t mean there isn’t more to learn about our loveable Lisa. She’s this month’s featured staff member for the latest installment of our ‘Team Member Q&A Blog Series’

Q: When did you know you wanted to be a dental hygienist?

A: It was so long ago now, that I can’t even remember what prompted me to enter the dental field. But, I’m certainly glad I did now! It has been and continues to be an amazing career.

Q: What’s your favorite part about your job?

A: My colleagues. They are incredible people and we truly have the absolute best time at work together. How many people can say they love their colleagues that much? I’m very lucky.

Q: What’s your favorite vacation spot and why?

A: Hawaii for the sun, beach and adventures.

Q: Do you have a favorite book or TV series you’re enjoying right now?

A: Game of Thrones. I was a little late to the game on this one, but once I saw my first episode then I was instantly hooked. I watched all six seasons in just over three weeks…yikes!

Q: What’s the one thing you wish patients knew about you?

A: I’ll admit that I don’t even floss regularly – we’re all human, right? So, you will never get the flossing lecture from me!
