Dr. Oleg is a true King County native, graduating from Bellevue High School before going on to attend the University of Washington, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where he served as class president all four years.
Even before attending dental school, Dr. Oleg helped start and subsequently manage a free dental clinic in Northgate, WA that provided the uninsured and low-income residents of King County with a safety net for their dental needs.
By attending several continuing-education groups each month, Dr. Oleg makes it his obligation to provide the latest research to benefit his patients — not only in dentistry, but also in overall health and well-being. He passes on his knowledge and dedication to learning by teaching as an affiliate faculty member in the Oral Medicine Department at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.
Dr. Oleg has gone above and beyond the requirements of continuing education for a dentist, with hundreds of hours in advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, periodontal therapy, dental implants, TMJ disorders, orthodontics (Invisalign®), sleep apnea, and pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Oleg and the 425 Dental staff hosted “Kids Free Dental Day” in May 2019, a free clinic which was organized by UW microbiology graduate and future dental student Alexander Choe. The event served low-income and disadvantaged children from the local community. More than 40 children received treatments including fillings, sealants, cleanings, and fluoride varnish from the 425 Dental staff, Dr. Oleg, Dr. Nikole, Dr. Sakai and a volunteer corps of more than 20 people powered by the School of Dentistry’s Husky Smiles student organization and their acting chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Travis Nelson.
In June of 2019, Dr. Oleg received the Gold Level of Achievement by the American Academy of Clear Aligners, recognizing him as one of the top ten clear aligner therapy doctors in North America. Additionally, he was the only doctor to have two of his Invisalign cases chosen within the top ten finalists of the most transformative cases in the AACA’s 2019 Golden Aligner Contest.
