425 Dental – Issaquah, WA

*NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. JOB TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED*

425 Dental is searching for a Dental Assistant to join our growing dental family. The ideal candidate will be willing to work together closely with fellow team members in order to provide our community with the highest quality dental care possible in a safe, friendly environment.

At 425 Dental, we believe that culture is one of the most valuable assets for a dental practice to foster. We have always strived to act as good caretakers of our company culture since day one, as it is not something that can be replicated. Building an ideal culture for our team and our community is paramount, and as a leader in providing comprehensive dental care, 425 Dental is in the unique position to continue doing so. Hard work, dedication, and respect are all elements that we hold in high regard.

By laying out our culture for all to see, we hope to attract those who are inspired by it. With a community of like-minded individuals, we can continually achieve greater heights day after day – while deterring those who may not be willing to commit to the level of dedication that we all hold ourselves to. We hold our standards in high regard and refuse to cut corners, as we truly operate with a sense of dedication to our community.

Responsibilities:

The Dental Assistant will be primarily focused on assisting the dentists in providing dental care and service to the patients of 425 Dental. They are responsible for efficient workflow between patients, assuring that operatories are properly prepared, equipment is properly functioning and sterilized, supplies are in stock, and more. This list of duties for new hires will take time to train and develop with starting supporting sterilization and our other dental assistants and providers. This role gives opportunities for growth and development in the dental industry without the expense of dental assisting schools.

  • Prepare operatories for each incoming patient
  • Assist patients as directed by the dentists
  • Assist the dentists chairside during appointments
  • Conduct and develop x-rays as directed
  • Maintenance, upkeep, and sterilization of dental tools and equipment
  • Maintenance, upkeep, and sterilization of all areas of the practice
  • Monitor supply inventory and reports on what supplies must be ordered and when
  • Assist in the completion and filing of patient records
  • Operate in full compliance with company policy, as well as state regulation

About You:

  • Positive Attitude: Some days are more challenging than others. The ability to keep a smile on your face, and attend to the needs of the patient so they have a safe and comfortable appointment is key. Our attitudes are reflective in our work, and 425 Dental prides itself on maintaining a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for its patients.
  • Adaptive: The ideal candidate is someone who can roll with the proverbial punches. The dental field is regularly changing, and the ability to change alongside and adopt modern techniques and solutions is critical. 425 Dental regularly adopts the latest in dental technology and methodology, and the ideal candidate will be ready and willing to accommodate.
  • Dependable: A solid recall program and upwards of 100 new patients each month keeps our schedule busy. By consistently having a full team in the office, we can best accommodate appointment requests and patient needs. The ideal candidate can be relied on to fulfill their duties, actively work on improving their shortcomings, and working closely with the entire team to create the ideal environment for both patients and one another.
